Game 3D and Texture Design


It was a time of browser-based strategy games was on the rise but things you could do in the browser was limited compared to the current options we have back then. We wanted to give players a beautiful interface with nice, 3d rendered-isometrical elements.

I used SketchUp for 3D modelling and basic VRay for rendering. It was the first time I used 3D software and I pushed the limits of internal texture editing on the vanilla version. It was fun and working on 3D was surprisingly rewarding for a UI designer like myself.
